Michael Hunter, founder of Twists Glass Studio in the Scottish Borders, has been at the forefront of the glass industry since 1998. He dedicated seven years to rediscovering and reintroducing the near-lost technique of embedding colored glass canes into the stems of glassware, a method dating back to the 18th century. Each handcrafted piece is mouth-blown, with no more than 20 stems made per day, ensuring exceptional quality and individuality.
